Anne Alethea Bissell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Alethea Bissell of Lacombe, Alberta, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Cyril Connelly and Vera Connelly; and her siblings, Joan (McVarish), David, Michael and Cyril.
She is survived by : her husband Ron; her sister Valerie (Tander); her mother-in-law Lynn; and her children, Kay Graca (Pedro), Ronald Mark (Michele), Kirsten Palipane (Erroll) and Geoffrey (Rebecca). She is also survived by children and grandchildren who call her "Mom" or "Grandma"; and many friends.
Between 2004 and 2019 when the first wave of Covid arrived, she made eleven trips to Thailand, spending two or three winter months each time as a volunteer in various capacities including assisting the food service manager and tutoring students who were in the process of learning English while Ron taught classes there.
