David William Schafer Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David William Schafer of Lacombe, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilie Schafer and Samuel Schafer (Edmonton). He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Wayne (Pamela), Ron (Karen), Candi (Eric) and Colleen (Darwin); his grandchildren, Brenden (Chloe), Jaden, Landon (Chelsey) and Darnell (Jaden Hemeyer); and his siblings, Ruth Kenzler, Bob Schafer, Leon Schafer and Carrol Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Donations in Dave's memory will be gratefully accepted for A Better World-Canada or for the Schafer Family Memorial Fund in care of the Alberta Conference.
