He was predeceased by: his wife Collene Lynne Damant; his siblings, Alfred Thomas Damant and Joyce Peck; and his parents, Beatrice Damant and Percy Damant.
He is survived by: his children, Ron, Deb, Matthew (Suzanne), Aidan and Kate; and his siblings, Beth Hand and George Damant. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
