She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard; her son Kevin; her grandson Cory Kroening; her parents, Staunton Elder and Ruth Elder; and her siblings, Darlene Illenseer, Robert Elder and Murray Elder.

She is survived by: her children, Wade, Lois Kroening, Kelly Sjolin and Deanna Kroening; her grandchildren, Chris (Jody), Cole, Brandon (Brittney), Thomas (Annie), Zack and Brittany; her great grandchildren, Branden, Tessa, Matthew, Brooklyn, Peyton and Xayvian; and her siblings, Jeane Gustin, Ron Elder and Colleen Churchill (Gordon). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
