Joy Augusta Thompson Obituary

We bid farewell to Joy Augusta Thompson of Lacombe, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 25, 2025 at the age of 77. Joy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schultz and Jenny Schultz. She is survived by: her husband Don Thompson; her children, Pamela and Gordon; her grandchildren, Hannah, Steven, Gabe and Daniel; and her brothers, Dale Schultz and Murray Schultz.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wilson's Funeral Chapel (6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe, Alberta T4L2G5).

Instead of flowers the family suggests a donation to Canada Helps (canadahelps.org) or The Broomtree Foundation in Lacombe (thebroomtreefoundation.com).
