It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernie Olenyk of Lacombe, Alberta, born in Bonanza, Alberta, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Bessie Olenyk and Shafron Olenyk; his former life partner Sarah; his children, Marilyn and Rick; and his wife Sharon. He was also cherished by three grandchildren, Sharon's three daughters and seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
