We announce the death of William Oscar Williams (Lacombe, Alberta), who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 66. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Williams and Jean Williams; his mother-in-law Mary Cameron; his brother Jim Williams; and his brother-in-law Henry Sponholz.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Williams; his children, Heather Williams (Ethan Vandervelden), Matt Williams (Chelsea) and Andy Williams (Sara); his grandchildren, Ben and Elliot Williams; and his sisters, Shona Sponholz, Moira Ellen (Tim) and Margaret Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Bill's memory to either the STARS Air Ambulance or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
