She was predeceased by: her husband Otto Schmidt; and her parents, Ferdinand Soch and Bertha Soch. She is survived by: her children, Orville (Lorraine), Clifford (Lucille), Elaine (Alexander), Rodney (Dominique) and Bruce (Billy-Jo); and her siblings, Otto Soch, Leonard Soch, Martha Horne and Esther Schmidt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours, and others who called her Aunty, Oma or MaMa.
