With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Herbert Mittelstadt of Leduc, Alberta, who passed away on October 20, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edwin Herbert Mittelstadt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his daughter Laurie Leney (Mittelstadt); his parents, Walter Mittelstadt and Lydia Mittelstadt; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Hodgins and Paul Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Gille; his children, David (Donna) and Michelle Kuny (Brad); his grandchildren, Kayle, Cole (Rachel), Ian and Kirsten (Andrew); and his siblings, Lorraine Hull (Percy), Garry Mittelstadt (Claire), Lillian Smith, Lynn Hodgins (Levi) and Dianne Sidor (Ken). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, at 2 p. m. at Peace Lutheran Church (4606 – 48A Street, Leduc, AB) with public viewing from 1 p. m. – 2 p. m. as per AHS regulations, proof of double vaccination or negative COVID 19 test within 72 hours upon entry is mandatory, masking is also mandatory.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations are greatly appreciated in honor of Edwin's name to Peace Lutheran Church, MS Society, HOPE Mission or a charity of one's choice.
