It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leslie Hartrick (Leduc, Alberta), who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Tara Hergott (David); his grandchildren, Evan (Macy) and Jaina; his daughter Kristin Riehl; his granddaughter Ava; his child Shannon Critchley (Sterling); his grandchildren, Ryder and Piper; his child Shawn Hartrick (Aleisha); and his grandchildren, Prentiss, Vaida and Marah. He is also survived by grand-dogs, grand-horses, grand-cats.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Leslie Hartrick's Funeral Service (3610 Range Road 250, Box 3154, Leduc, AB T9E 6L9).
