It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mark Sharun (Leduc, Alberta), born in Vegreville, Alberta, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Frankie; his children, Taylor, Ethan and Aidan; his parents, Mauri Sharun and Andy Sharun; and his siblings, Sandi Hoppins (Raymond), Tara Dunsmore (Patrick), Sean Sharun (Melissa) and Scott Sharun (Kaytee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada or to the Cross Cancer Institute, both were close to James' heart.
