She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alice, Ted, Thora, Lloyd, Phyllis, Maurice, Doris, Ben, Roy, Ross, Frank and Fay.

She is survived by: her spouse Elwood Irwin Mitchell of Saskatoon; her siblings, Jean and Bob; her children, Colleen Mitchell of Edmonton, Gail Astle of Sherwood Park, Fay Chorney and Bob Mitchell; her grandchildren, Kelsey Bagnall, Brandon Astle, Robbie Mitchell of Edmonton, Chris Chorney and Shaun Chorney; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Bagnall, Sasha Astle and Gordon Bagnall.

Jennie Ruth Mitchell (nee Skeldon) of Sherwood Park and formerly of Leduc, Alberta departed this world to be at peace with our Heavenly Father on Friday, April 13th, 2018, at the age of 86 years, after succumbing to a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
