He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Lillian; his brothers, Bill (Ruby) and James; and his niece Maxine.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his sons, Clayton (Anna) and Bobby (Carol Ann); his grandchildren, Megan, Jake and Josh; his sister Muriel (Dale); and his sister-in-law Jill.
