He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Barber and Dorothy Barber. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his sons, Chad Barber (Jenn) and Cory Barber (Renee); his stepdaughters, Sarina Patterson, Trisha Shewchuk (Mike) and Christina Patterson; his grandchildren, Brody Barber, Jesse Barber, Rhett Barber, Wyatt Barber, Miranda Saucier (Matthew), Marissa Daviduck and Reid Shewchuk; his great grandchildren, Dylan Saucier and Rylan Saucier; and his sister Virlea Miller (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lorne's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
