He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Stern and Emma Stern; and his brothers, Arthur, Ernest, Emil and Clarence.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Gerald, Brian (Erna), Lorne (Zorena), Brad (Lorelei) and Neil (Debra); his grandchildren, Michael, Olivia, Curtis, Travis, Kyle, Jessica, Tyler, Kamryn, Jason, Julianna and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Kinsley, Leighton, Everett and Holden.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Serenity Chapel (4702 51 Ave, Leduc, AB T9E6Y8). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Leduc City Cemetery (6108 43 St, Leduc, AB T9E0G8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (5115 48 Ave, Thorsby, AB T0C2P0).
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made in the name of Ray Stern to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Thorsby.
