He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Herregodts and Gertie Herregodts. He is survived by: his wife Leslee (Vaage); his daughter Leanne Wade (Nathan); his grandchildren, Zach Miller, Billy and Carter; his children, Dave Herregodts and Kelly VanOuwerkerk (Jason); his grandchildren, Hendrik and Halle; and his siblings, Babe Zeiner (Mary), Elona Nessel and Joe Herregodts (Doreen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca), Special Olympics Alberta, or a charity of one's choice.
