It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Brand (Leduc, Alberta), who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Josef Brand. She is survived by : her children, Betty Scharfenberg (Kerry), Cathy Turgeon (Philip) and Larry Brand; her grandchildren, Craig Scharfenberg, Jessica VanHappen (Chris), Lisa Broussard (Peter), Adam Turgeon (Kaite), Jason Turgeon (Chelsea), Jackie Malmas (Eric) and Michael Brand (Taylor); and her sister Frieda Currie. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society, or the Leduc and District Food Bank.
