She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kindrachuk and Pearl Kindrachuk; her husband Winston Newman; her siblings, Walter Kindrachuk, Olga Wasylyk, Sophie Varga, Sylvia Kindrachuk, Natalie Rowley and Emily Lee; her nieces, Marilyn Rowley and Shelley Cojocar; and her great-nephew Jeremy Cojocar.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy, Murray Anhorn, Laura, Ryan Melin, Tavis and Chryslyn Newman; her grandchildren, Tate, Isaac, Seth and Cassia Anhorn; her children, Caleb, Chloe, Jenevieve Melin, Aleksander and Maverik Newman; her sister Mary Stachniak; and her brother-in-law Jim Varga.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Alice's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, Foothills Country Hospice, St. Paul's United Church in Tisdale, or McKillop United Church in Lethbridge.
