He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aucoin and Bernadette Aucoin; his wife Veronica; his sister Yvonne; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Gaudet, Gloria Smith and Charlene Boumberger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Aucoin (Duane Ens), Denise Rollag (Mike) and Janet Aucoin (Sheldon Chow); his grandchildren, Clarissa Maelu (Parker), Lily Rollag and Thomas Ens; his great grandchild Baron Maelu; and his siblings, Anna Morissette (Raymond), Alma Aucoin, Diane Richard (Jack), Jeanne Hébert (Raymond), Gloria Léger (Charlie), Gerald Aucoin (Theresa) and Doris Gaudet. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A prayer will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel (610 4th St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4P3). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church (604 13 St N, Lethbridge, AB T1H2S7). Being at Park Meadows during the pandemic spared him of the isolation that he would have faced if he was living in the community as he had the other residents and staff to socialize with.
