He is survived by: his parents, Bob Schuler and Eileen Schuler; his brothers, Duncan Schuler, Trent Schuler (Shelley) and Brett Schuler (Katerina); his niece Jesslyn Schuler (Sean Maddocks); and his nephews, Randy Schuler, Elijah Schuler and Daniel Schuler.
