He was predeceased by: his sisters, Eva of Lethbridge and Elizabeth of Tiszanagyfalu; and his great grandchild Edie of Vancouver, BC.. He is survived by: his wife Ida; his sister Ava; his children, Brenda Vasas, Rodney Vasas (Sonya) and David Vasas; his grandchildren, Brandie Hannen-Williams (Jason), Gabrielle Houweling (Joel), Kyle Vasas, Hannah Bos (Peter), Bailey Tams (Curtis) and John Vasas; and his great grandchildren, Lucian, Finn Hannen-Williams, Naomi, Landon, Seth, Caleb Houweling, Everly and Burke Bos.
