Celeste Pryde Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Celeste Pryde of Lethbridge, Alberta. Celeste, born on October 8, 1952, passed away on September 27, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Celeste Pryde to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Vanessa; her parents, Wayne Doucet and Irene Doucette; and her brothers, Harold, David and Wayne.

She is survived by: her husband John Pryde; her children, Laurel Pryde (Zdin McCullough) of Calgary and Jason Pryde of Lethbridge; her grandson Andres Villegas-Pryde (Hailey Pacheco) of Calgary; her sisters, Cynthia Copper, Serena Smith, Lucinda Doucette-Pilles (Herb Pilles) and Donaleen Hawes (Michael); and her sisters-in-law, Joanne and Pat. She is also survived by cousins in Nova Scotia; nieces and nephews.

Celeste was also honoured by receiving recognition for her contribution to the arts by the Hon. Norman Kwong Lt. Governor of Alberta.
