Cyril Serkin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cyril Serkin in Lethbridge, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Haim Nachman and Rebecca Serkin; his in-laws, Ronald and Dorothy Roper; and his brothers-in-law, Noel Zalmanovici and Darren Roper.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Serkin; his children, Toby (Gary Bishop), Sheldon (Tali Noimann) and Carla (David Atkins); his grandchildren, Elliot, Tess Serkin, Samuel, Ronald, Adrian Sechman and Rebecca Bishop; his siblings, Sally Zalmanovici and David Serkin (Evelyn Hardin); and his sisters-in-law, Mavis Matis, Kathryn Stewart and Kim Roper.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Society for Yad Vashem (yadvashem.ca) in Cyril's memory.
