He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Burchak (Golia) and Andrew Burchak; and his brother Thomas Burchak. He is survived by: his daughters, Pat Houtekamer (Terry) and Bev Hosack (Allen); his grandchildren, Alexandra Hosack, Travis Hosack and Desirae Hosack; and his wife Kathleen Yates (Kay).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel (610 4th St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4P3).
