He was predeceased by: his mother Angie; his brother-in-law Gerard Thom; and his cousin Frank Vaclav. He is survived by: his daughters, Abby and Gracie; his grandson Weston; his father Bill Randa; his sister Shelley Thom; his nephew Adam Thom; the mother of his children Sandra Randa; his cousin Mike Balaz (Kelly Morton); his niece Amanda Balaz; his cousins, Deb and Dion Roth; his in-laws, Andy, Lily and Susan Karkus; his close friend Michelle Mutter; and his wife Sandra. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin Brothers Riverview Chapels (610 4th St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4P3). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre (101 Exhibition Wy S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4R3).
