He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kopervas and Susanna Kopervas; his siblings, Anne Kelley and Johnny Kopervas; his nephew Tom Martin (Kopervas); and his sister Mary Kopervas.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Kopervas; and his children, Cindy Willis (Richard) of Vauxhall, Judy Wiest (Ken) of Lethbridge, Linda Hobberstad Lethbridge (Bob), Ken Kopervas (Jacqueline) of Hays and Patty Epp (Alan) of Lethbridge. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and by numerous nieces and nephews.
