He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo; his son Barry; his parents, Rasmus Michelson and Lulu Pearl Michelson; and his siblings, Ralph, Dwaine and Marie.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Laurie; his grandchildren, Jill Campbell of Coaldale, Alberta, Heather Gazes (Sam) of Reno and Nevada; his great grandchildren, Hayley, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Elias and Lexi; and his siblings, Bruce (Maple Ridge) and Arlene.
