He is survived by: his wife Gita; his children, Trevor Layton (Denise) of Coaldale and Tracy Ross (Randy) of Whitecourt; his grandchildren, Paige, Tristan, Callum, Cole, Sydney, Hudson and Camryn; his siblings, Gerald Layton (Gail), Myron Layton (Judy), Barbara Wright and Betty Bird; and his siblings-in-law, Rodney Zaugg, Hugo Fiedler (Goldy), Darlene Layton, Diane Layton and Judy Fiedler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
