She was predeceased by: her husbands, Reinhold Schiemann and William Littau; her parents, Emil Ebner and Ella Ebner; and her sisters, Wanda Schiemann, Agnes Schrage, Else Rupps, Helen Bonn and Ursula Heynen.

She is survived by: her children, Heidi Clarke (Bill), Karl Schiemann, Lily Schiemann (Ian Robertson) and Rosemarie Schiemann (John Bohonis); her grandchildren, Deakan Clarke, Evan Clarke (Maggie), Brigitte Robertson (Ryan Stang), Bronte Robertson (Chris Baltis) and Chelsea Hoffard (Wesley); and her siblings, Gertrud Pohl (Erwin), Alfred Ebner and Reinhold Ebner (Josephine). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
