He was predeceased by: his son Adrian Veldman; his parents, Albert Veldman and Annegien Veldman; his siblings, Harm, Hendrika Veldman, Margaret Veldman and Henk Veldman; and his siblings-in-law, Harm Veldman and Gertie Maarhuis.
He is survived by: his wife Henny Maarhuis; his daughters, Margaret LeBlanc (Darren), Angela Veldman (Graham Waites), Martina Martin (Trevor), Monique Tolsma (Derek), Sharon Korthuis (Josh) and Louise Veldman; his grandchildren, Kaisha LeBlanc (Michael Graf), Caleb LeBlanc, Rebekah LeBlanc, Judah LeBlanc, Chloe LeBlanc, Daniel Khurshid, Hannah Khurshid, Linden Martin, Alena Martin, Abigail Avers (Hilbert), Bart Tolsma, Aiden Tolsma, Danika Tolsma, Brynlee Tolsma, Miah Korthuis and Kaylee Korthuis; his great grandchild Rowan Graf; his siblings, Henny Veldman and John Veldman (Vicky); his in-laws, Wiebo, Erna Maarhuis, Ralph Maarhuis, John, Til Maarhuis, Andy and Jayne Maarhuis; and his sister-in-law Aly Veldman. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel (610 4th St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4P3). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Reformed Church (1100 40 Ave N, Lethbridge, AB T1H6B7).
