James Matkin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Matkin in Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on July 5, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Matkin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Ethel Freel, Charles and Ireta Matkin; his parents, Jim Matkin and June Matkin; his siblings, John, Michael Matkin and Connie Tarnava; his brother-in-law Greg Tarnava; and his niece Cassidy Matkin.
He is survived by: his sisters, Kathy Matkin-Clapton (Christian Clapton) and Sharla Matkin (George Szilagyi); and his siblings' children, Isaac Prusky, Abigayil, Maiya Clapton, Elijah, Rain Matkin-Szilagyi, Carmen Geigle (Nick), Laura Goalen (Ed), Mark McNevin and Mike Matkin.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels (610 4 St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4P3).
