She was predeceased by: her husband Garry Houthuys of Michael's Health Center; and her parents, John Porter and Irene Porter. She is survived by: her sons, Andrew (Laura) and Brandon; and her sister Irene (Raymond).
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Park Meadows Baptist Church (2011 15 Ave N, Lethbridge, AB T1H5J4).
