Kelly Hagel Obituary

We announce the death of Kelly Hagel in Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 72. Kelly will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Hagel and Esther Hagel; his sister Susann Britton; and his in-laws, Art and Eve Strain.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy (Strain); his children, Ryan and Ashlee (Kelly Gregus); his grandsons, Kitson and Jett; his siblings, Peggy Amatt (John) and Danny; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Westland (Jim), Lynn Tait (Nick) and Gary Strain (Phoebe). He is also survived by numerous cousins and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 2510 Scenic Dr S, Lethbridge, AB T1K1N2.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Association of Alberta will be gratefully accepted.
