He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl and Jean; and his siblings, Ruthie, Earl, Rena and John.
He is survived by: his wife Shelley Smith; his daughters, Breezie (John Schitthelm) and Robbyn; his stepdaughters, Heather (Kevin Schindeler) and Jennifer (Berton Sullivan); his grandchildren, Amber, Mason Schindeler, Brian (Barbara), Dean (Eunice) and Lois (Doug Harrowing); and his sisters-in-law, Sally and Lorena. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
