With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lilian Pohjakas (Lethbridge, Alberta), who passed away on March 18, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Germany and Sweden; her daughters, Lilian and Lea Switzer (Mark); her grandson Arthur Switzer (Catherine); her children, Oliver Switzer, Eva Lamb (Jason), Noah, Eden, Charlotte, Lucy Lamb, Anna Switzer, Tiina Williams (Darryl), Dexter and Tyson; and her close friend Adrian Geers.
Lilian's final year and a half was spent at Mark and Lea's home, where dementia (Alzheimer's) and other physical difficulties made life a different kind of adventure.
