He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; his parents, Arthur Bennett and Eva Bennett; his sister Delma Truelove; and his parents-in-law, Alfred and Evelyn Leahey.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Bennett (Melanie) and Susan Bennett; his brothers-in-law, Terrence Leahey and Edward Truelove; his nieces, Debra and Cheryl; his nephew Darren; his grandchildren, Amy, Samantha (Brad), Danielle (Teran) and Michael; and his great grandchild Annabelle.
