He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Campbell and Malcolm Campbell; his parents-in-law, Anthon and June Young; his brothers-in-law, Ralph Young, Brad Kenny and Roger Young; and his nephew Brad Overn.

He is survived by: his significant other Linda Campbell; his children, Allan (Catherine) of Lac Beauport, Mike (Carly) of Campbell River, Brent (Christina) of Airdrie and Aaryn (Dan) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Emily (Emmsy), Noah, Rowan, Léo, Ethan, Claire and Brady; his siblings, Ardyth Cooper (Mike), Aaron (Kathy), Robin Kenny and Rhonda Allan (Scott); and his close friend Jim Findlater (Deb). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
