She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Einosuke Nishida and Miki Nishida; her husband Tak Katakami (Takeshi); her nephew Jeff; her grandchildren, Quintin and Ciara; her son Tim Katakami (Cathie); her grandchildren, Steven (Janie) and Kristin (Derek); her great grandchildren, Koemi, Daevi and Kami; her sister Thelma Saito (late George); her stepdaughters, Lisa (Quintin) and Eriko Nakamura (Ciara); and her siblings, Eiko Yakushi, Eikichi Nishida and Eizo Nishida (Teruko). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
