He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Zadan and Anna Zadan; his siblings, John Zadan (Janina), Mary Werewka (Fred) and Nina Skretting (John Badura); his niece Jeannie Holstine; and his nephew William "Bill" Badura.
He is survived by: his sister Valentina Robinson (Lloyd) of Medicine Hat; and his nieces and nephews, Larry Zadan, Jean Zadan, Fred Werewka, Walter Sylewko, Cynthia Berntson (Cindy), Karen Spengler, Geraldine Toth, Jeannette Badura, Bryan Badura, Carolyn Siemens, Linda Robinson and Michael Robinson.
