She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Drefs and Josephine Drefs; and her siblings, James Drefs (Terri) and Shannon Traxel. She is survived by: her brother Randy Drefs (Kathy) of Medicine Hat; and her aunt Julia McElwee of Selkirk, Manitoba.. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
