She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond LaValley; her parents, Trudy Newinger and Merv Newinger; and her siblings, Deb Coolidge, Ken Newinger and Merv Newinger.

She is survived by: her daughter Mona Johnson (Kurt); her grandchildren, Riley and Tianna; and her siblings-in-law, Tim Coolidge, Sheila Newinger and Joanne Newinger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
