With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scott Shields of Lethbridge, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2026 at the age of 57. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Scott may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ned and Thelma Shields. He is survived by: his parents, Byron Shields and Helena Shields; and his siblings, Tammy Hunt (Brian) and Spencer Shields (Tia). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Centre (2410 28 St S, Lethbridge, AB T1K2V9). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
