He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Zook and Betty Zook; his parents-in-law, William and Iris Crabb; and his sister-in-law Lily Crabb.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his siblings, Terry Bruneau (Roch), Jim (Linda) of Lethbridge, Paul (Kim) of Lethbridge and Brian Zook (Barb) of Lethbridge; and his friends, Diana Lowther (John), Cathy Forbes (Ken), Don Crabb (Chris) and Dave Crabb (Sharon). He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law.
