He was predeceased by: his wife Almeta (Wilton); and his daughter Judy Lumley. He is survived by: his sons, Roger Matthews (Debbie) and Sean Matthews (Allison); and his grandchildren, Mitchel, Zackary, Russell (Amanda), Tegan (Josh), Celine (Colin) and Barbara Anne. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
