It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jake Klassen (Linden, Alberta), who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob Klassen and Margaret Klassen; his wife Erma Toews; his siblings, Mary, Kay and Johnny; his grandchildren, Carol and Craig; his son-in-law Miles; and his great grandchild Riley.

He is survived by : his daughter Rose; his siblings, Cork, Tony, Art, Erna, Mert, Eileen and Frieda; and his children, Janet Toews (John), Rosalie McCulloch, Paul Klassen (Dana), Karen Hannah (Trevor), James Klassen (Janice) and Donna Esau (Darin). He is also survived by 42 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; and many extended family members and friends.
