With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Birnie Hotchkiss (Lloydminster, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Wilder Hotchkiss; his parents, Dean Hotchkiss and Kay Hotchkiss; and his parents-in-law, Ernie and Joy George.

He is survived by: his wife Angela; his son Cayle (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Ben, Phoebe and William; his son Phillip (Marie); his grandchildren, Emmett, Noah and Gwendolyn; his son Brett (Sarah); his grandchildren, Chilton, Goldie, Gemma and Juliette; his son Jake (Monique); his grandchild Kipp; his stepson Tyler Simons (Shannon); his stepgrandchild Sidney; and his siblings, Esther Dupperon, Doug Hotchkiss, Allen Hotchkiss, Bev Davies and Shelly Doerksen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
