He is survived by : his wife Anita Sheppard; his brothers, Robert Sheppard (Dorothy) and Ken Sheppard (Margaret); his daughters, Brenda Born (Jim) and Christine Oleksiw (Marc); his grandchildren, Jake and Carter Oleksiw; his stepson Garnet Weaver (Alison); his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Burzynski (Deryk), Greg Weaver, Levi Weaver and Jon Rees (Taylor); his stepson Ron Weaver (Terra); his stepgrandchildren, Billy Weaver (Jessy), Cole Weaver and Tressa Weaver (Otto); his stepdaughter Kari Wakefield (Jeremy); his stepgrandchildren, Karsen and Lindsey Wakefield; and also, Ben, Mason, Charlie and Paisley.

In Lieu of flowers, Donations in memory of Shep may be made to Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation, Jumpstart or donor's Charity of Choice.
