She was predeceased by : her father Michael Tomkins; and her sister Cynthia Tomkins. She is survived by : her husband Calvin; her children, Caitlin Vert (Tyler), Cassandra Dase (Andrew) and Charlie; her grandchildren, Brent, Rosemary and Isla; her pet Junior; her mother Iris Tomkins (Wilf Metz); her brothers, Vernon and Trevor (Patricia); her parents-in-law, Nikolaus and Doreen Winterhalt; and her siblings-in-law, James, Catherine (Edward) and Bernadette (Frederick). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Charlotte may be made to University of Alberta Hospital (Liver Transplant Unit) or Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation.
