He was predeceased by: his father Tom Mercer; and his grandfathers, Jim Mercer (Bev) and Tony Patan. He is survived by: his mother Lisa Tadgell; his son Kaden Allen; his siblings, Kyle Mercer, Jessie Tadgell, Jake Tadgell, Aryn Possberg (Noah) and Alec Tadgell; his stepfather Art Tadgell; his grandmother Lynn Patan; and also Gloria Allen. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the McCaw Funeral Chapel (5101 50 St, Lloydminster, AB T9V0M2).
Donations in memory of Damien can be made to Air Cadet League of Canada Saskatchewan Provincial Committee (Skacl) or Development of Saskatchewan Youth to Becoming Excellent Citizens.
