She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard George and Margaret Rose Chocan; her grandparents, Wilfred, Harriett Chocan, Robert and Mary Chief; her siblings, Loretta Jane Worme, Casey Richard Chocan and Paul Raymond Chocan; her aunts and uncles, Gloria Chocan, Aldena Whitstone, Agnes Chocan, Anna Crowe, Rosalie Chocan, Julia Chief, Rosie Chief, Sharon Chocan, Paul Chief, Daniel Chief and Raymond Chocan; and her grandson Hank Swiftwolfe.
She is survived by: her children, Marly, Nathan, Theodore and Troy Chocan; her grandchildren, Braylee, Maylee, Swiftwolfe, Sophia, Liam, Stella Chocan, Miley, Natalia, Theodore Jr., Teja Chocan, Lana, Seriah and Jacob Chocan; and her siblings, Dwayne Chocan, Eileen Chocan, Calvin Chocan (Valerie), Joanne, Veronica, Fenton and Fred Favel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A wake was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Round Hall - Kehte-Aya-Wikamik East Side. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
